ABOUT OUR CLUB

The date June 6, 2004. Five PT Cruisers carrying eight Dayton area PT enthusiasts met in the Wilmington

Pike parking lot of Home Depot, to discuss the possibility of starting a Cruiser club in the region.

Those eight, Harvey Cohen, Bob and Pat Riffle, Gracie Kline, Alice, Susan Lucas, and Katie and John Dattalo,

decided that day that a club was needed. They began organizing the brand new Gem City PT Cruisers. Two

weeks later, the five cars grew to 20 for the club's first official event at Quaker Steak and Lube in Beavercreek.

Cars came from as far away as Columbus and Cincinnati to help kick off the new club. And a good time was

had by all! The date: June 26, 2004 - the anniversary date for our club. The first anniversary was celebrated

with a Show and Shine at QSL.

                                                        

     

We are a club without any formal organizational structure. However, in the interest of avoiding total chaos,

volunteer Coordinators have provided leadership for the club. The first Coordinator was Harvey Cohen. The

second was Bob Riffle, and recently a third Coordinator stepped forward into the leadership role: Jack Smith.

 

JOIN GEM CITY PT CRUISERS

There is only one requirement to becoming a part of Gem City PT Cruisers. You must be an owner-enthusiasts,

or at least an enthusiasts of Chrysler PT Cruisers. Being a member allows you to enjoy the good times that are

associated with gathering for cruises, shows, cruise-ins, and other events. Unlike some PT clubs around our

nation, there are no dues or fees for membership.

To become a member we suggest that you come to some of our upcoming events, and check us out. If you feel

at home with the gathered group, you can fill out an Information Form right then and there. Or if you don't
